I picked up this jersey from a consignment listing on Meigray that was brought to my attention by my buddy MBur!

This jersey was worn for 10 games from January 19, 2021, through March 3, 2021 (I did a double-take on those dates being for Away Set 1, then I remembered that was the delayed and shortened COVID-19 season), in which Sam scored 2 goals and added 7 assists for 9 points.

This jersey originally sold for $1425 Kroenke Sports Charities back in May 2021, so to say I got it for a great price at $495 plus shipping is a HUGE understatement! It was auctioned alongside the first batch of Reverse Retros, so I thought maybe that price was inflated, but looking at what the rest of Sammy G’s jerseys auctioned for that year, it was just over $100 over the average at $1319 and change. That average also takes into account two warm-up jerseys: Hockey Fights Cancer @ $875 and Military Appreciation @ $900. If you take those two warmups out, his average game-worn jersey price bumps up to $1383 and change.

Anyway, the paperwork from Meigray says they photomatched this jersey to two games, so I’ll have to get those photomatches up on this page and see if I can find any more!
