So this is the third Avs RR2 jersey I’ve owned (fourth if you count the MacK Indo I purchased). The first RR2 I had was a Maltsev Game Issued that I won from the KSC Auction. I later traded the Maltsev and cash to Keo for a MacK RR2 Game Issued (Set 2, 3rd Period).

In late March/early April 2026, I decided to slim down the collection a little bit by eliminating some of the jerseys I had two or sometimes even three of the same “style”. A lot of these were MacK jerseys, but the goal was to free up/raise some money toward buying a house, so I figured losing the entire MacK collection, but still keeping every style the Avs have worn on-ice was worth that endeavor. Joel, a jersey buddy of mine, who I bought my Drury Mesh Berlin from, pulled a Godfather on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse to straight out buy my MacK RR2 GI! I didn’t even have that jersey on my for sale list, so it definitely caught me off guard. Let me say that the offer was so good, I definitely considered selling it outright to him. What stopped me was knowing how hard (if not impossible) RR2s were to find. We eventually settled on trading my MacK RR2 GI plus my MacK 2020 All-Star jersey for his ERod RR2 and cash 😮

Joel snagged this jersey at the opening night blowout sale and later learned that the ERod RR2 jersey that the Avs auctioned was only game-issued which sold for around $1300! ERod only wore this jersey for one of the four RR2 games in the 2022-23 season, on Dec 29th. That makes this only ERod RR2 Gamer out there! Adding even more icing to the cake was that ERod scored a goal on 12/29 against the Kings in this jersey! Now I’ll definitely be trying to track down that goal puck!
